• Arrive Lethbridge in the afternoon/evening. A limited number of rooms have been set aside at the Coast Lethbridge Hotel and Conference Centre (see information packet).
• Informal “Meet and Greet” in the Coast Hotel’s Firestone Restaurant and Bar the evening of June 1st. Join us for some cocktails and appetizers, from 6 pm onward.

Thursday, June 2, 2011

• Breakfast on your own
• 8:45 am – Board bus at hotel
• 9:00-10:15 am – Lethbridge College
  • Wind technology presentation/tour
• 10:30-11:30 am – Canada Alberta Crop Development Initiative Centre
  • New efficiencies in irrigation technology equipment presentation/tour
• 11:40 am-1:00 pm – Lunch and tour, Broxburn Vegetables and Café
• 1:30-2:30 pm – Perry Potato Farm and Domed Storage
  • Presentation and tour by Harold Perry, potato producer
• 2:45-3:30 pm – Cranford, and Chin Lake and Irrigation Storage Reservoir
  • Chin Ridge wind farm project
• 3:45-7:00 pm – Dinner and socializing at Indian Hill Golf Club
• 7:30 pm – Coast Lethbridge Hotel and Conference Centre

Friday, June 3, 2011

• 7:30-8:45 am – Breakfast and AGM, Coast Lethbridge Hotel and Conference Centre
• 9:00 am – Depart hotel by individual vehicles for University of Lethbridge
• 9:30 am – University of Lethbridge
  • Alberta Water and Environmental Science Building
  • Presentations and tours
• 12 noon – Lunch at University of Lethbridge
• 1:30 pm – Depart for home
