AFWA LEGACY PROJECT
The Alberta Farm Writers' Association (AFWA) officially announced the AFWA Legacy Project Friday, April 1, 2022. The goal of the AFWA Legacy Project is to raise awareness and educate secondary and post-secondary students about careers in agricultural journalism and communications, as well as the importance of communications in all facets of the agri-food industry.

INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF AGRICULTURAL JOURNALISTS
AFWA is set to host IFAJ2023, the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists’ (IFAJ) annual congress in Olds, Alberta June 27 to July 3, 2023. It is a rare opportunity to showcase Canadian agriculture to a global audience of professional agricultural journalists and communicators.
